Divas and Sheilas, eating out in Parys

For many years the small town of Parys in the Vredefort Dome area has attracted visitors to the many antique and arty shops.  I could spend hours browsing the enchanting wares.  Looking for a place to eat lunch we were put off by the fact that most restaurants have their outdoor seating facing the road.  We wanted to enjoy a more peaceful garden setting and were determined to find somewhere offering this.  Divas and Sheilas fitted the bill perfectly.

The artistic garden reveals small treasures at every turn while silky chickens with adorable chicks were the embodiment of a smile.  A play area under shady trees kept the children happy.

It is always a relief to see a kids menu and the prices were reasonable.  Fjord had a vienna & chips, Acacia chose fish fingers and chips, I had a hamburger and Cliff a pizza, his pizza was however very small and he regretted not choosing something else.  The coffee milkshake was yummy!
