I have a little home industry baking business, Sula’s Kitchen. A customer asked me to make Marie Fudge. I had never tasted let alone made this traditional Afrikaans treat but set about looking for recipes. I found a few but was not totally happy with the result, after a few tweaks this is the recipe which I now use. My lovely Afrikaans customer says that it’s the best she’s ever had and orders regularly.

I totally agree with her, I loooove it, its so good that I don’t want to share it with anyone. I love all your baking, the biscuits are also divine but that fudge is just something else.
So glad you like it
I often make it! I think I also sent you a recipe intitally?
Yes thank you Cat, you did. I just found it a little dry using a full packet of Marie’s so reduced that and changed the method a bit. It’s such a hit
