Love is a melody and music pins your memories.  Soon after meeting Cliff on an online dating website matchmaker.com, I knew that we would stay together.  During our 1st month of dating I was listening to a Nick Cave CD and the song ‘Are you the one that I’ve been waiting for’ played, I knew then that it will always be our song to me.  Within 6 months of meeting we were engaged.  We married on the 5th of March exactly one year from the date that we met.  We have been together for 10 years now and married for 9.   He is my perfect partner, marriage is not always easy but I know that we are right for each other.  Listening to our song, I am reminded of the love and certainty which I felt from the start.

Our music album will always be Lloyd Cole’s Rattlesnakes, before we met in person I had been looking for Rattlesnakes and he had the CD. We agreed that I would bake him a batch of choc chip cookies in exchange for the CD.  Early in our marriage Lloyd Cole came to South Africa and we had a most memorable night at his concert.
