Suicide note

I’ve taken Twitter off my phone after looking too much at #coronavirus.  I follow someone called Harry Chen PhD, of course this is the internet and he/she could be a spotty teen with a computer anywhere in a world full of fake news but much of the content seems legit and is way scary.

A video recently posted stuck in my mind, a body hung from a tree.   I can’t forget the lonely, sad image.  This is the link to the clip, obviously the content is sensitive.

He hung there like the

In an opera

so surreal

His silence speaking loudly

From a place where he can’t feel

He hung like an exclamation

Shouting to be heard

His life’s final punctuation

In the theater of absurd
